Who doesn't love a good s'more? The sweet treats, which were first made popular across the pond, are often best enjoyed during the summer months - especially if there's a campfire involved.

But for those of us who want to make s'mores from the comfort of our homes, it's easily done, and you don't even need an open flame to toast your marshmallow before pairing it with chocolate and crackers to create the sweet snack.

They can actually be made in the air fryer, and they take just three minutes and three ingredients to do so. Since they require minimal preparation, they're perfect for when you have guests, or if you just fancy something sweet at the end of the day.

The simple recipe was shared on TikTok by @shaylagressman, who often posts helpful home, cleaning and cooking hacks which can make busy family lives easier. Her recent video with the three-minute s'mores recipe has exploded in popularity, racking up over 1.2 million views at the time of writing.

Captions across the screen read: "POV - it's 100+ degrees outside and you're craving s'mores." While it most definitely may not be as warm as that here in the UK, they're still the perfect easy snack to make for a quick sugar fix.

And all you need is a couple of marshmallows, some squares of chocolate and a few crackers or biscuits to fill with the sweet mixture. To begin with, you'll place the biscuits into the air fryer basket, using four if you want to make two s'mores as they'll double up.

Then, cut or tear two marshmallows in half and place each piece on the crackers before shutting the air fryer drawer and cooking for two minutes on 190C.

Once the time is up, the marshmallows should have begun to toast nicely, so take out the drawer again and press one square of chocolate onto two of the four pieces. Cook again for a further one minute.

Then, simply take a chocolate and a marshmallow biscuit and press them together, allowing the two parts to merge together, before snacking away.

Hundreds of people have tagged their friends in the comments, desperate to try this recipe out, with many others praising its simplicity.

One person said: "I now wish i had an air fryer." Another commented: "The perfect British summer snack."

"We did this all the time last summer!! It was the best," someone else said, whilst another simply penned: "Genius."
