Georgia May Foote’s Strictly Dance Partner Denies Potential Romance Rumours

We all know that Strictly has a tendency to spark a bit of romance every now and then however, Georgia May Foote’s dance partner is adamant that there will be no friskiness between the pair.

Yep, despite looking pretty cosy on Saturday night’s show, Giovanni Pernice has insisted that he and gorgeous Georgia have not and will not be getting their flirt on this series.

Giovanni shot down any potential romance rumours saying that he ‘prefers blondes’ anyway - news that will be a relief to the former Corrie star’s boyfriend Sean Ward.

Giovanni told the Mirror: “I prefer blonde girls with blue eyes anyway. Georgia is a great dancer, but she has a boyfriend and he is a really nice guy.”

“We are not together, I have a great relationship with the boyfriend. He trusts me. Strictly is a big show so I want to come back.”

However, the dance pro admits that he is aware of the infamous ‘Strictly curse’ however, is certain that it won’t be striking anytime soon for these two.

“I’ve heard about the Strictly curse and I’ve been warned about it. I think it just happens when people spend a lot of time together, but there isn’t with me,” he says.

And Georgia backed up her dance partner adding: “It’s just acting in dance form. I’m loving it, it’s so much fun. Sean has been cheering me on.”

For now, they are focusing Strictly on the perfect cha-cha-cha and nothing else.
