Geri Horner thanks Little Mix for Brits shout out
Perrie Edwards has revealed that Geri Horner thanked her after Little Mix gave the Spice Girls a shout out at the Brits.
The singer and her bandmates Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall were named best British group at the glitzy ceremony, making history as they were the first all girl band to clinch the title.
Accepting their award, they gave a nod to all the female groups who had paved the way, saying: “The fact that a girl band has won this award really does speak volumes, so this is not just for us, it’s for the Spice girls, All Saints and all of the incredible girl bands.”

Edwards has now shared that Horner reached out after the ceremony.
She posted a video on her Instagram Stories showing flowers and a sweet note from Ginger Spice, which said: “Dear Perrie, congratulations.
“Thank you for the shout out.
“Love Geri xx (Spice Girls)."
Another thing about the Brits that impressed Horner was Dua Lipa’s look.
The singer wore a Union flag inspired outfit, which was apparently a nod to the dress that Horner wore to the event as Ginger Spice in 1997.
Sharing a throwback snap of herself in the skimpy dress, Horner wrote on Instagram: “Trust yourself... this dress is a reminder to follow your instincts and be yourself.

“24 years ago I had an idea - to wear a Union Jack to celebrate The Brit Awards.
“Despite the doubts, I trusted my instincts and wore it anyway. All these years later to see it worn by a fellow sister is so special. #girlpower."
“P.S. it was £5 tea towel on a Gucci dress," she added.
