Michelle Keegan was back on the front lines in BBC One's Our Girl tonight (October 10) with a new recruit who's not exactly a fan favourite.

The military drama is breaking its format for its third season, choosing to stick with Keegan's combat medic Lance Corporal Georgie Lane after switching up its lead from Lacey Turner last year.

This year, Our Girl will be split into three separate story cycles as Georgie Lane returns to the field following her deadly encounter with a terrorist. This time, she's sent on a humanitarian mission to Nepal.

In the aftermath of an earthquake rocking the country, Georgie Lane is overwhelmed by training unruly new recruit Richards (Shalom Brune-Franklin) and the sudden reappearance of ex-boyfriend Elvis (Luke Pasqualino). Let's just say viewers like one of those characters much more than the other...
