Our Girl's Michelle Keegan celebrates fifth wedding anniversary with Mark Wright with a photo from their wedding

Our Girl actress Michelle Keegan celebrated her fifth wedding anniversary on Instagram yesterday over the weekend.

Posting a sweet black and white snap of her and husband, former TOWIE star Mark Wright, it showed them from the back on their wedding day.

She simply captioned it: "5 years ago today. Happy Wedding Anniversary @wrighty_ Thank you for always holding my hand."

Along with two heart emojis, This Morning presenter Ruth Langsford congratulated the couple by writing in the comment section: "Happy Anniversary you gorgeous people."

"Happy anniversary to you both although a very sad day for the 25 million men that didn't get to marry you [laughing emoji]," joked one of Michelle's other followers.

Meanwhile, Mark himself also uploaded a picture and loving message of his own to his Instagram account.

"Happy 5 years @michkeegan Thank you for being you, making me smile every day and Thank you for being my biggest supporter. Love you always x," he wrote.

On screen, Michelle recently exited her role as Our Girl's Georgie Lane after four series.

In conversation with Digital Spy, she teased: "I can now say the door has been left open for Georgie to return, which is great for me because I absolutely love the show and it's such a special show to be a part of.

"For me I'll never say never to going back, ever. I love playing Georgie Lane – it was such a challenging yet rewarding role."
