Glasgow manhunt launched after four vehicles deliberately torched on Baillieston street

A manhunt is underway after multiple vehicles on a quiet Glasgow street were deliberately set on fire in the early hours of the morning.

Police officers were called to Station Park, in Baillieston, following reports that four vehicles were up in flames around 12.30am on Monday, June 10.

Emergency services attended and the vehicles were found to be 'extensively damaged'.

Following enquiries carried out by the police so far, it is understood two men were responsible and made off from the scene in a red coloured vehicle.

Both men were dressed in navy tracksuits and one has been described as slim while the other was of heavy build. Officers are now appealing for information into the wilful fire.

Constable Ross Gallacher said: "Extensive enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding this incident and we are appealing for any members of the public with information to come forward.

"We would be particularly keen to hear from anyone with private CCTV or dashcam footage of the area in the early hours of Monday, 10 June, who may have captured something of significance.
