After a sell-out tour last year, iconic Christmas rom-com The Holiday is once again set to get the live orchestra treatment, with a performance at the Royal Concert Hall in December.

Part of a huge UK tour, the show will begin on November 28 and run right up until just before Christmas on December 19, with stops in London, Edinburgh, Manchester, Nottingham and Birmingham as well as Glasgow on December 4.

The classic festive movie will be brought to life, with the charming score composed by Hans Zimmer - who also composed the music for movies such as Inception, Dune, No Time To Die and Interstellar. The Holiday, which was released in 2006, stars Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jude Law and Jack Black.

In the film, two women who have never met switch homes - and lives, with one of them swapping sunny LA for the snowy English countryside, and vice versa.

A festive favourite, it sees Amanda, played by Cameron Diaz, live in a luxurious mansion in LA before swapping homes with Iris, played by Kate Winslet, who calls a small charming cottage in England home. With both women having been unlucky in love, they find romance in unexpected places over the festive season.
