Tame Impala‘s Kevin Parker is the latest act to be confirmed for a secret set at Glastonbury this weekend.

The Australian psych star will play a set at the festival’s Silver Hayes stage at 1AM Saturday morning.

“GLASTONBURY come see me tonight at the Firmly Rooted sound system in Silver Hayes at 1am,” wrote Parker on Instagram. “DJ set. Should be pretty funnnnn.”

Parker’s involvement has also heightened speculation that he could be involved in Dua Lipa’s headline set this evening, having worked with the singer on her latest album, Radical Optimism.

While Parker’s set is now officially confirmed, fans began to wonder if he was ripe for an appearance earlier this week, when his name appeared in the official festival programme. “The Antipodean psychedelic rock icon takes to the decks,” a synopsis added.

Dua LipaColdplay and SZA will headline the Pyramid Stage, while the festival has announced a slew of developments in recent years – including the news that the festival’s towering Arcadia spider will be replaced by a giant dragonfly, that the Genosys stage will return to Block9 and the end of The Rabbit Hole after 17 years at the festival, replaced by new venues The Wishing Well and Scissors in The Park.

This year’s festival will also see headline Pyramid Stage sets streamed globally for the first time ever.

The good weather will also continue into this weekend too, with full weather forecast details to be found here.
