GMB's Piers Morgan makes big error in Susanna Reid note

From Digital Spy

It's Piers Morgan's last Good Morning Britain of the year, and he couldn't resist saying goodbye in typical Piers fashion.

The presenter said farewell to 2018 with a series of Love Actually-style notes (because at Christmas, you tell the truth) that he held up to the camera as guest Catty Pearson sang them out with 'Silent Night'.

Piers declared that vegans are "perfect" and admitted he once wore a papoose, despite previously feuding with Daniel Craig after calling them "emasculating".

But his big error was noticed in a note to co-host Susanna Reid, where his message read: "Susanna your the best thing that ever happened to me."

Viewers were quick to point out the grammar error, saying the correct spelling should have actually been "you're".

However, if you haven't worked it out already, it was just someone else poking fun at Piers' frequent tirades against people who use the wrong 'your'/'you're' on Twitter, as his next card read: "Who wrote these?"

Susanna was quick to spot the mistake as she held up the card, and pointed out the error to the camera while grinning.

Piers' next cards read: "Love to every gender fluid, non-binary individual out there.

"Merry Christmas. Ps. BBC Breakfast sucks."

Despite being ill and preparing to head off on his Christmas break, Piers still managed to clash with a guest yesterday, labelling him "the worst we've ever booked".

Male model Richard Holt was on the show to debate an advert that featured an older topless male model.

But things quickly went sour, with Piers declaring: "You're the worst guest we could have booked for this. You have no idea what you're doing, you're abusing everybody including the guests and the hosts."

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV at 6am.
