Yahoo News GMB viewers slam Piers Morgan's Trump interview
During President Donald's visit to the UK, Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan was the only journalist to interview him.
Since speaking to the controversial president earlier this year, Morgan has gained the reputation of being Trump's go-to interviewer in the UK. This morning (July 16), GMB shared videos of the world exclusive interview on board Air Force One.

Trump visited the UK on Friday (July 13) to meet with Prime Minister Theresa May and the Queen, and despite protests of around tens of thousands strong and a giant inflatable baby Trump floating over Parliament, the US President insists his visit was a "success".
During his interview with Morgan, Trump described the Queen as a "fantastic woman" and said that she is "so beautiful". He also discussed Brexit, claiming: "Nobody had any idea how complex it was going to be."
As viewers watched, many accused Morgan of going easy on Trump.
Isn’t it ironic that Piers Morgan gave Meghan Markle’s sister a tough time when he interviewed her but with Trump he becomes star struck and turns to jelly.

Other angry viewers described the interview as "meaningless", with Morgan not taking Trump to task on any of the important issues.
Sounds like he's sitting on the fence with all questions so basically this interview is meaningless

I wouldn't expect that phone hacking numpty to do it, but utterly embarrassed by the amount of journalists who have the opportunity to challenge and show up this racist, sexist fool yet simply ask him the most basic questions.
