'Gogglebox' star Shaun Malone announces birth of baby son
Gogglebox star Shaun Malone has become a first time father after welcoming baby son Louis with his girlfriend.
He shared the news of the happy arrival to Twitter on Wednesday as he praised his partner's bravery in delivering their son.
"Super happy to announce the birth of my son Louis Malone," the 23-year-old wrote.

"Thanks for everyone’s interest, mother and baby are both well I couldn’t be more proud of my girlfriend I wouldn’t be that brave having my belly cut open," Malone added.

Meanwhile the Malone Family, which is headed up by mum Julie and dad Tom, responded via their Twitter page.
"So excited to welcome our new Grandson Louis !!!! Can't wait to meet him. Congratulations !!!" the message read.

Last month, Malone revealed he had been absent from the latest series of the Channel 4 programme after moving in with his expectant girlfriend mind the coronavirus pandemic.
It also comes after he opened up about the health struggles he faced as a teenager after developing a brain infection.
Malone told the Coaching From The Sofa podcast: "In 2010 I got sinusitis and in some way, the infection found its way back to my brain. My brain started swelling and my skull started crushing it so my mum took me to A&E saying, 'Look he’s poorly!' and they said it was sinusitis.
"Then I collapsed one day at home and I ended up going into a coma and they said to my mum and dad that I had a less than 10 per cent chance of living."
He went on to say he had suffered brain damage as a result which affected his mobility.
