Gogglebox's Amy Tapper called 'inspiring' as she shows off weight loss

Gogglebox fans have called Amy Tapper an inspiration after she revealed she has "dropped four jumper sizes".

The TV star — who has been open about struggling with her weight since she was a child — showed off her transformation in a set of Instagram snaps that showed her at a celebration with friends.

A few days earlier she had shared that her bid to shed the pounds had resulted in her going down several clothes sizes.

Fans were impressed with what Tapper had achieved and flooded the comments section of her account with heart emojis and praise.

"You are looking amazing, you must be so proud," said one of her followers.

"Looking gooooood," said another, adding a row of flaming hot emojis.

Somebody else said the reality star was "doing fab", while another admirer posted: "You are inspiring."

Another fan chimed in: "Love the outfit! You look amazing."

One declared that the armchair critic was "gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous".

Another person remarked: "Looking great and happy, big smiles."

Tapper, 23, has been losing weight for some time and regularly updates her fans on how she is getting on with her healthy eating and exercise routine.

She is thought to have lost several stone in total.

The star found fame on Channel 4's Gogglebox along with her family, parents Nikki and Jonathan and brother Josh.

The family made their debut on the TV show in 2013 and were fan favourites, not bowing out as regular cast members until 2018.
