Yahoo News Gogglebox's Daniel shares update since split from husband Stephen
Gogglebox star Daniel Lustig has opened up about his split from ex-husband Stephen Webb.
The former couple, who starred on the Channel 4 reality show together until their exit in 2023, announced their divorce after six years in April, saying they had made the decision to "part ways" but will "forever be friends".
Opening up about their split in a new interview with OK! Magazine, Daniel said that neither he nor Stephen wanted to be "unhappy" anymore.

"When we called time on it, yes it was very upsetting because when you get married and walk down the aisle you don’t think that’s ever going to happen, you can't think that, you have to think positively," he shared.
"We got to the point where we’d talked about the breakup, about why we were breaking up, how we were going to go through it, and how we were both feeling. When we both felt in a stable place and a bit more confident, and also there for each other, that’s when we put it out."
Daniel and Stephen are currently still living together in their Brighton flat, though they plan to live separately once the flat is sold.
However, as Daniel put it, there was nothing "scandalous" about their decision to divorce and the pair remain friends, with Daniel cooking for them both while Stephen's still in charge of the laundry.

It sounds like the two are very much moving on though, as Stephen is set to appear on the new series of Celebs Go Dating this summer.
Married at First Sight UK star Ella Morgan, who will also appear on the show, recently revealed that she formed a close friendship with Stephen while filming.
"Guys honestly it's the best and funnest experience I've ever done in my life so far. I love the cast, the crew are all amazing. I've got a new BFF for life, Mr Stephen, and we're gonna do loads more together," she said in an Instagram Story.
Meanwhile, Daniel previously said Stephen is a "very good candidate" for the show, adding to The Sun: "I want him to find love again. We always want our exes and friends to find love and just to be happy."
