Right now our number one TV obsession is the adaptation of Holly Jackson's book A Good Girl's Guide to Murder. The six-part BBC series stars Emma Myers as Pip, who figures herself as a teenage detective and becomes obsessed with solving the murder of a local girl Andi who was said to be killed by her boyfriend Sal five years ago.
Except Pip things more to the story that meets the eye, and along with Sal's younger brother Ravi (Zain Iqbal) she begins a complicated and dark investigation to uncover the truth of what happened all those years ago.
And if like us, you've raced to the end of the series, and are desperate to know if we'll be seeing Pip and Ravi reunite to solve more crime, then here's everything we know about a potential season two so far.
Has A Good Girl's Guide to Murder season 2 been confirmed?
Ok, so as of yet nothing has officially been confirmed or shared about a potential season two of A Good Girl's Guide to Murder. The series has literally only just dropped on BBC iPlayer and will be released on Netflix worldwide from August, so we're likely going to have to wait a while to see the reaction to the series, and if it will then be renewed.
There's three more books in Holly Jackson's Good Girl's Guide to Murder series so there's plenty of material to work with if the series were to go ahead.
One thing we do know for sure is that lead actors Emma Myers and Zain Iqbal are both keen for the series to return. When speaking to Cosmopolitan UK, while playing a game of Most Likely To, the pair both said they wanted another season to happen.
"If people love it then for sure I want to do all the seasons, it depends on if you watch it," Emma said.
What could happen in a Good Girl's Guide to Murder season 2?
As you may know A Good Girl's Guide to Murder is based on the first book in the series of novels of the same name by Holly Jackson. The first season covered the case of the first book and so it's likely a potential second season would cover the second book Good Girl, Bad Blood.
In the second novel Pip creates a podcast dedicated to unpacking the case she solved in the first novel and despite not wanting to get involved in crime solving again, she is asked by her friend Connor to investigate the disappearance of his brother Jamie.
And as she gets deeper into her investigation it appears someone else is always one step ahead of her, desperate to keep the truth hidden.
Who would be in the cast of A Good Girl's Guide to Murder season 2?
If there were to be another season we'd really hope to see Emma Myers and Zain Iqbal reprise their roles as Pip and Ravi. It literally wouldn't be the show without them.
