Whilst Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Finn Wolfhard, Sadie Sink and Noah Schnapp arrived at the ceremony together and posed for group photos on the carpet, 13-year-old Millie was centre stage as she arrived and posed for the paps on her own.
Once inside, the full group did appear to sit together and posed for photos at the Netflix after party, however, when none of the cast posted a photo with Millie, speculation that there had been a falling out only began to grow among their fans.
Taking to Instagram, Gaten shared a photo of himself with Caleb, Finn, Sadie and Noah on the red carpet, writing: “Golden Globes 2018 with the crew! Thank you for all of the support!”
Noah and Finn shared a similar photo, with Noah adding: “No words needed #strangerthings3 #goldenglobes #timesup”, and Finn: “Thank you, good night!”
Caleb shared a video of himself, Finn, Noah, and Gaten walking onto the red carpet, writing: “We’re ready! #SQUAD #goldenglobes #redcarpet #BeYourBiggestFan”.
And newcomer Sadie, who plays Max in the second season of the Netflix original series, is yet to post.
Meanwhile, Millie shared four posts from the night to her Instagram account, none of which featured her co-stars.
The strange red carpet and social media activity did not go unnoticed by fans, with some taking to Twitter to voice their concern about the cast’s relationship – with many blaming Millie’s ‘management’:
