Goldie Hawn has been in a loving relationship with Kurt Russell for 34 years now - and she's spilling the secrets that have kept them together all this time. In an interview with People, the 71-year-old actress opened up about what got them together in the first place, and what has kept their bond so strong.
The two met while filming the movie Swing Shift, and she said she knew he was the one by how he interacted with her two kids. "What really got me was when I watched my kids when they'd come to the set and how he was with them," she said. "He was amazing with them. He was such a natural."
These days, the two have still kept the spark going. They recently both got long-overdue stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and the pictures are just too cute. (Hawn is promoting her new movie Snatched, while Russell, 66, is promoting his role in the new Guardians of the Galaxy movie.)
"To you, I owe my wonderful life," Russell told Hawn during his speech, according to Entertainment Tonight. "Simply put, Goldie, I cherish you. And all the stars in the sky or on the boulevard can't hold a candle to that."
Hawn opened up to People about the secrets that have kept them together. "Love, gratitude, compassion, because sometimes every man or every woman will drive their partner crazy. Family. Fun. Laughs. Sex," she said. "If you don't nurture that, and remember, you're done."
