For the uninitiated, Thompson and Mitchell star as Dexter and Ed, a pair of fast-food workers first introduced in a series of sketches on Nickelodeon’s All That in the mid-1990s. Picking up more than two decades later, the sequel finds Dexter returning to his old gig at Good Burger after another of his many inventions fizzles out, and Ed — who now works alongside his son, in case you didn’t already feel ancient — welcomes his best dude back with open arms. Shenanigans ensue.
Of course, Thompson and Mitchell aren’t the only familiar faces with whom fans are reunited in Good Burger 2. Three more characters from the original 1997 film are also back in action: the always-delightful Josh Server as franchise manager Fizz, the incomparable Lori Beth Denberg as customer Connie Muldoon and, of course, the legendary Carmen Electra as reformed Mondo Burger employee Roxanne.
Read on to check out some whiplash-inducing then-and-now photos of the Good Burger cast members returning in this sequel, then grade the movie via our poll (after you watch it, of course). And feel free to drop a comment with any of your thoughts about Good Burger 2 while you’re down there. We know you’ve got ’em.
