‘A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder’ Trailer: ‘Wednesday’ Breakout Emma Myers Solves a High School Cold Case

Is there such a thing as a handbook for solving crime?

Well, for high schooler Pip Fitz-Amobi (Emma Myers), she is just about writing her own rules when it comes to solving a cold case for a class project. “Wednesday” breakout Myers leads the Netflix series adaptation of beloved mystery YA novel “A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder” that centers on a teen who is looking to prove that her former pal was wrongfully accused of murder.

The official synopsis reads: Five years ago, schoolgirl Andie Bell was murdered by her boyfriend Sal Singh. Case closed. The police know he did it. Everyone in town knows he did it. And if Sal Singh isn’t a murderer and the real killer is still out there, how far will they go to keep Pip from the truth?

The only issue is Sal is dead too, and there’s no one to clear his name. That is, until Pip teams up with Sal’s brother to prove his innocence.
