Good Karma Hospital returns with high-stakes blackout
The Good Karma Hospital returned tonight for another sunny outing and it was all go in the hospital as the second series of the ITV drama opened.
Dr Ruby Walker (Amrita Acharia) was put through the mill tonight, as the hospital was filled with patients suffering in the blistering Kerala heatwave.
Amanda Redman's Dr Lydia Fonseca then decided that Ruby was ready for her first surgery and her first solo night shift.
The surgery went well and viewers were delighted:
