'Good Morning Britain' hosts in hysterics after regional newsreader goes flying

The lesson here is don’t expect any sympathy from Richard Arnold if you fall off your shoes.

Regional ITV newsreader Balvinder Sidhu learned that to her cost after an – admittedly amusing – spill on TV.

Balvinder reads the news for Central in the Midlands during Good Morning Britain. Well, when he’s upright she does.

Showing the clip this morning, Ben Shepherd and Kate Garraway cracked up, but it was Arnold who thoroughly corpsed.

It’s not been a good week for spills on ITV.

This Morning’s Alison Hammond sent a man dressed as a sailor careering into the Albert Dock during a weather segment on Wednesday.

“Oh my god, get a towel! I’m so embarrassed!” she screamed after leaping from England to Northern Island on the giant floating weather map.
