Euron Greyjoy and The Night King are probably the two biggest villains on Game of Thrones at the moment – along with Cersei, of course.

In fact, they're so evil that the thought of them going face-to-face sounds like the ultimate baddie v baddie showdown.

Well, it turns out that they did (sort of) face-off on this week's episode 'Stormborn', and Euron came out on top – of course.

The actor who portrays the Night King, Vladimir 'Furdo' Furdik, actually acted as a stuntman for the epic boat battle scene at the end of the episode.

"We trained that battle for weeks," Euron actor Pilou Asbæk revealed to The Hollywood Reporter.

"It took two weeks' training with Rowley [Irlam], the stunt coordinator. We would rehearse with [Vladimir], who also plays the Night King, who I killed on the boat as well."

He added: "That's the other side of stunts – you get killed a lot of times in the same episode."

To be fair, given the manic energy that Euron displayed in that scene, we wouldn't bet against him winning an actual battle with the Night King.

Now that Euron has niece Yara as a result of the battle, we will likely find out her fate in next week's episode 'The Queen's Justice'.

Game of Thrones continues this Sunday (July 30) on HBO in the US, simulcast in the early hours of Monday morning (July 31) on Sky Atlantic in the UK.
