Game of Thrones is known for slaying loads of characters without mercy, so it's no surprise really that the cast are a bit nervous about when it will be their turn.

As soon as Peter Dinklage – who plays Tyrion Lannister – gets his script, the first thing he does is skip right to the end to find out if his character has croaked it during that particular episode.

"First thing I do when I get scripts is to go to the final page," he told The Sunday Express. "Then I work my way back to make sure I've survived another week."

We don't blame him to be honest.

Dinklage has recently hit out at fans of the show for buying huskies because they look like 'Direwolves', then dumping them.

It seems that a record number of them are being abandoned and the actor has now teamed up with PETA to try to help.

Elsewhere, co-star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau has revealed when the cast will be back on set filming for the final (sob) season of the show.

"I don't know what's going to happen next season. We go back in October, so maybe in the next few weeks, we'll get the scripts and I'll find out. I'm very curious."

The final GoT season has been confirmed of just six episodes and we're really not ready to say goodbye yet, so it's probably a good thing that there's around a thousand spin-offs in the works.

Game of Thrones continues on Sunday (August 20) on HBO in the US, simulcast in the early hours of Monday morning (August 21) on Sky Atlantic in the UK.
