We all remember the sayings our parents used to use when we were younger.

If you grew up on Merseyside the likelihood is there will be many sayings you would have heard that you wouldn't hear anywhere else in the UK.

There are so many Scouse sayings which have stood the test of time and have been passed through generations, it is one of the many things which makes the people of Liverpool so unique.

We want to know if you have ever been compared to 'one of Lewis's' or you have been told you have a 'mouth like the Mersey tunnel'. There is sure to be a phrase you remember We have thirteen phrases to bring back memories of your childhood, but only those who grew up on Merseyside will remember all sayings.
