Grey's finale will have "lots of twists and turns"

Grey's Anatomy looks set to end its 14th season with a memorable finale.

Firstly, lead Ellen Pompeo hinted that the episode would be "devastating". Now, her co-star Camilla Luddington teased that fans should expect "a lot of twists and turns".

Titled 'All of Me', the finale will centre on the wedding between Jo Wilson and Alex Karev (Justin Chambers). And Luddington, who plays Jo, told Entertainment Weekly that their storyline will be light-hearted.

"It was really bizarre filming it, just because it's been such a long time coming for these two characters," she said. "To see Justin in his suit and to even put on this wedding dress was like, 'Wow! We made it!'

"I can't believe that we've actually made it. Just because they've been through so much.

"Then, it just so happens that there's a lot of twists and turns to it. It's a really fun storyline for them. We laughed a lot shooting it."

Luddington added that she also found it tough on set, because it was also the final episode for Jessica Capshaw and Sarah Drew, who play Arizona Robbins and April Kepner respectively and were both controversially axed from the show.

However, she said that it's a fairly low-key finale, all things considered.

"There's no giant explosion," she said. "In that way, it's not one of those finales. I would say that there's lots of beautiful moments. I hope that the audience does enjoy it."

Grey's Anatomy airs on ABC in the US and on Sky Living in the UK.
