Grimsby Town will begin their 2024/25 League Two campaign with an away trip to face newly-relegated Fleetwood Town on August 10.

For their first home fixture, Town will face another team that has come down from League One this summer in Cheltenham Town. Two more mouth-watering fixtures away at Notts County and at home to Bradford City round off an intriguing first month of games for the Mariners.

September starts with another tough away trip against National League champions Chesterfield, who return to League Two after a six-year absence. Doncaster Rovers come to Blundell Park on October 5, which will also see the first return of Harry Clifton following his move to Town’s rivals this summer.

The Boxing Day fixture is a home game against Harrogate Town, who they faced on the same date in the 22/23 season. They also end the calendar year at home against Port Vale before travelling to Accrington Stanley on New Year’s Day.

Grimsby’s final away trip of the season is to Stadium MK to face MK Dons on April 26 before they entertain AFC Wimbledon at Blundell Park on May 3 in the curtain closer - the same fixture they ended the 22/23 campaign with.

All fixtures subject to change. The new Sky TV deal means more matches may be switched for TV coverage with dates and times of fixtures up to the end of September to be announced within seven days of fixture release day. More TV fixture picks will be made for the period until the weekend of the FA Cup Third Round before the start of the season. Then picks until the first weekend of March will be made before November 1, and after February, they will be made on a rolling four-week schedule.
