This guy's uncle went to Magaluf and everyone thought he was Morgan Freeman
We love a good case of mistaken identity and this latest tale might be one of the most hilarious yet.
Bedfordshire Twitter user Louis took to the microblogging website last night to share a selection of brilliant photos of his uncle Norman being mistaken for Hollywood actor Morgan Freeman during a recent trip to Magaluf.
Alongside the caption: “My uncle went Magaluf for a stag weekend and everyone thought he was Morgan Freeman”, Louis shared a selection of photos to prove his point – including one snap of a club that had projected an image of Freeman onto their walls alongside the message: “Morgan Freeman in the house @magaclubpass buy him a drink if you see him”.
Another taken from a Magaluf club’s Instgram account showed Norman posing alongside two excited partygoers with the caption: “#MorganFreeman #Magaluf”.

The final picture is a screenshot of a Facebook post from an excited Morgan Freeman fan, who’d posted a selfie with Norman and the status: “What a wicked end to the weekend, on a massive hangover and the No.1. God #MorganFreeman walks into The Red Lion Magaluf on the sly for a cheeky vodka Red Bull. Quality.”
Louis’ tweet quickly went viral, gaining over 15,000 retweets in less than 24 hours.
Acknowledging the hype, Louis joked that his uncle had “made it” adding that it was “f*cking mad”.
Norman himself is yet to comment.
