BBC Hairy Biker star Si King has been flooded with sweet support from fans as he shared an emotional update on his final project with his late co-star Dave Myers.

Dave passed away at the age of 66 in February this year after battling cancer but his legacy lives on. Si took to Instagram to promote the duo's latest book 'Fast and Fresh' and the BBC star revealed that Dave was “very proud” of their creation.

In his heartfelt video, Si said: "Hello everyone, it's Si here. Fast and Fresh from The Hairy Dieters is available tomorrow. Thank you if you pre-ordered, it's hugely appreciated.

“It was a book that Dave and I really loved working on, so yeah there's 80 delicious and easy recipes, easy as I know we're all pushed for time these days. I don't know how that happens but we just are aren't we.

"It's a lovely book and we had the greatest of joy working on it together. Dave was very proud of it, so here it is. Lots of love to you all."

Si also thanked fans for their continued support that "doesn't go unnoticed". He wrapped up his post by saying: "Lots of love and I hope you enjoy Fast and Fresh.”

It didn’t take long for fans to rush straight to the comment section and flood the star with support. @hoblouis commented: “Can’t wait to buy it looks fantastic! Dave would be so proud! Hope you’re doing ok si! Sending big hugs & lots of love to you all.”
