Hairy Bikers' Dave Myers left wife Liliana 'windfall' and TV production company after death

Dave Myers, one half of the Hairy Bikers, has left his substantial fortune and TV production company to his wife following his death less than two months ago.

The sad news of Dave's passing at the age of 66 was shared on social media by his long-time colleague Si King, with whom he formed the popular duo known as the Hairy Bikers.

Dave's death came less than two years after he publicly revealed his cancer diagnosis, leading to significant changes for his production company, Sharpletter Limited, which was established back in 1993, reports the Mirror.

It is understood that control of the firm has now been passed to his wife, Liliana.

Documents filed last month with Companies House confirm that Dave is no longer listed as a person with significant control over the company.

This follows the termination of his appointment as a director.

Liliana, who was made a director of the production company in March 2022, shortly before Dave announced his cancer diagnosis, is now the sole active person with significant control listed for the company on Companies House.

According to reports in The Sun, Dave left his wife a significant £1.4 million 'windfall', with her being named the sole stakeholder of their company following his death.

Current records suggest she's assumed full control of the business which reportedly had a 'capital and reserves' value exceeding £1.4 million from August 2022 to April 2023.

Additional assets appear to be trickling down to her as Dave's shares in other corporations where he held directorships together with his co-presenter Si, start making their way into her name.

Although specifics surrounding Dave's will are yet to be publicly disclosed since his passing, according to The Sun.

News of Dave's death was made public less than two months ago, with friend and colleague Si announcing it on social media platform Instagram.

An overwhelming number of celebrities and the general public poured out their condolences at the time.

Liliana, his wife, paid her tribute as well, posting pictures of her late husband, captioned: "Rest in peace, my love. My wonderful, brave man! Till next time we meet!", subsequently calling him an "exceptional" husband and a "wonderful" stepfather.

More recently, Dave's widowed wife has spoken openly about her life without him.

She expressed her feelings in a post saying: "Life stood still when I lost Dave. It still seems still, empty and sad. And I know it might seem too soon to even consider moving on. How can I move on from this wonderful, exhilarating, out of ordinary on so many levels, life that I shared with an extraordinary man? ".

"When he is everywhere and in everything around me? I tell you how... I MOVE FORWARD WITH HIM! He will always be part of me, I am who I am because of him, he helped me shape the last 20 years of my life. I am ME because of HIM."

"There is grief to go through, but I won't let that keep me stuck, or fall into illness... because he wouldn't want that for me! I plan to live my adventures and take him with me! Experience life with him in my heart! Make his impact on my life meaningful! Write my next chapters with the excitement and the joy he taught me life can be lived with," she added.

In a recent post Liliana, who allegedly first met Dave in 2005, concluded by writing: "Carry his zest for life with me! Laugh and love like Dave! Having Dave Days for the rest of my life! I'M MOVING FORWARD WITH HIM! ".
