Hamza Igamane overcome with emotion as inbound Rangers striker delivers powerful statement

Jubilant Hamza Igamane has delivered a powerful thank you to FAR Rabat for their role in his development as he stands on the verge of sealing a dream transfer to Rangers.

The 21-year-old will seal his move to Ibrox imminently after the Premiership side agreed terms with the Moroccan side on a £1.7million switch to Glasgow. Igamane – who can play through the middle and out wide – was keen to say thank you to his the club who brought him through as he aims to turns heads under Philippe Clement's stewardship.

Posting on social media, Igamane, said: "My success comes only through Allah. In Him I trust and Him I turn. After an incredible journey with ASFAR, which has shaped me into who I am today, it's time to bid farewell and embark a new challenge. I've had the honour of achieving two titles with the club I deeply love. I'm forever grateful to the committee represented by President Mohamed Haramou, and Vice President Al-Ayoubi, to all the Askaries, team-mates, coaches, staff, and everyone who has influenced my career in any way. The leader will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you for everything."
