Harry Potter’s Neville Longbottom, Actor Matthew Lewis, Joins The BBC Muggle News Team

Actor Matthew Lewis of Harry Potter fame has seemingly changed careers, stepping out of the grandiose halls of Hogwarts and into the busy BBC newsroom.

The film star posted a photo on Instagram to his 358,000 followers, as he poised behind the famous news desk wearing a subtle but sharp-looking grey blazer and black shirt combo.

In the caption, he wrote, “Tonight’s 10 o'clock news will be hosted by ME. #BackTheBBC #NEWS.”

We reckon that he looks the part… or maybe he has cast a spell on us, either way, we’re not complaining!

Unfortunately, his daily round up of the muggle news didn’t make it on to air, then again; perhaps it’s better left to Huw Edwards…

…as THIS could be slightly distracting.

P.S. You’re welcome.

This is a recently shared shot from the photo shoot that he did for Attitude magazine earlier this year, if you didn’t see a copy, you’re seriously missing out.

When speaking about this transformation from boy to man, he commented, “I’ve never considered myself to be good-looking at all. Just average.” Modest too!

So, the 26-year old has proven that he can be a model with chiseled features that will reduce you to tears, a life-saving hero of a wizard and, now, a professional newsreader.

What’s next? Singer? Musician? Firefighter? …Whatever the case, we’re certainly looking forward to discovering the rest of this celebrity’s hidden talents!
