Harry Styles 'splits from actress girlfriend Taylor Russell' after 14 months

Former One Direction singer, Harry Styles has reportedly split from his girlfriend, Bones And All actress Taylor Russell. The pair, who had been together for 14 months, said goodbye to their intense love story last month, according to reports.

Just last month , the couple embarked on what was described as a 'make or break' holiday to Japan to try and iron out the difficulties in their relationship, with the couple last spotted together in public on a Tokyo subway in April. Interestingly, Taylor later made a solo appearance at this month's Met Gala in New York, without Harry by her side.

An insider shared with The Sun: "Harry and Taylor have ended their relationship. They went through a rough patch after their trip to Japan and are taking some time apart. He's been in America and she's been in London. They made a lovely couple and it was obvious Taylor made Harry happy. Things have become strained recently though and they've taken some time out."

Harry, who originally hails from Redditch, first sparked rumours of a split earlier this month, when he was conspicuously absent from the Met Gala. As a proud fashion lover, in previous years Harry had enthusiastically attended the exclusive event, but this year he opted to skip the bash and let girlfriend Taylor attend alone.

Despite the lack of her boyfriend, Taylor still turned heads at the event, wowing in a beautiful gown custom-fitted with a wooden corset bodice, reports the Mirror. A red leaf pattern adorned the high-necked top and an elegant white skirt draped from her hips.

She went on to complete the look with sleek back hair and natural makeup, allowing her natural beauty to shine through.

The solo appearance of the pop star on the red carpet raised eyebrows among fans, given that her boyfriend Harry is no stranger to such events, having even hosted the 2019 Met Gala during his debut attendance. Known for his fashion-forward style, Harry's absence from the carpet sparked concern among fans who were eager to catch a glimpse of him.

"Why isn't Harry Styles at the Met Gala tonight? WHY," queried a fan on X, formerly known as Twitter. The musician's followers have been yearning for a sighting of him since he wrapped up his Love on Tour shows last year.

Fans had hoped that this high-profile event would end their Harry drought. Another lamented: "Why do I always hope to see Harry Styles at the MetGala? ? Every year is the same thing."

Despite only attending once before, fans are convinced that Harry would have nailed this year's dress code, Garden of Time. One admirer commented: "The Gala would have been no challenge for Harry Styles. He looks like a prince every time he dons a suit. All he needed was a tux with a flower and BOOM he'd slay."

Harry and Taylor's relationship first came to light last March when they were spotted together on what appeared to be a romantic walk. They were seen together again in July when Taylor attended Harry's Love On Tour gigs in Vienna from the VIP area.

Harry publicly supported his girlfriend Taylor when she starred in The Effect at the National Theatre in London. He was spotted at the afterparty, where he and Taylor were seen getting cosy.

The pair have been seen together frequently around London, even braving a Boxing Day swim at Hampstead Heath ponds. Birmingham Live has contacted Harry's representatives for comment on the matter.
