Have Emma Stone And Andrew Garfield Split?

Just when we thought it was safe to come out from our duvets following a summer of celebrity splits, reports are claiming Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield have called it quits.

Between this and Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez’s divorce, we’re seriously considering hibernating for the winter.

A source for Us Weekly ‘confirmed’ that the couple have split after four years together, following a break back in April 2015.

The source claims the two split ‘a couple of months ago’, adding: “They still have a lot of love for one another and they are on good terms with each another and remain close.

“It just wasn’t working.”

Another source told PEOPLE: “There was no drama, they’ve been apart while working. They still care about each other.

It was claimed that the glorious couple took a break from their relationship in April after ‘fighting a lot’ and spending a lot of time apart, with Andrew busy filming ‘Silence’ in Taiwan at the time.

They reunited just a couple of weeks after the rumours emerged though, holding hands on what appeared to be a date. N’aww.

Emma, who met Andrew on the 2011 set of ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’, previously told the Wall Street Journal that she keeps quiet about her relationships.

Asked about the couple’s break, she explained: “I never talk about this stuff for this exact reason — because it’s all so speculative and baseless.”

“I understand the interest in it completely, because I’ve had it, too. But it’s so special to me that it never feels good to talk about, so I just continually don’t talk about it.”
