'Hay, Can I Grab a Lift?' Cow Glides Along on Bale at Australian Farm

“This drought is sending everybody crazy, even the cattle.” That was the conclusion at a farm in Taroom, Queensland, on January 4 when a cow was seen riding atop a hay bale that was being dragged by a tractor.

Rohan Guest, whose father owns the Clunie Range Angus Stud, recorded the video and posted it to the farm’s Facebook page.

He told Storyful, “We were feeding cattle at our property when this cow just randomly jumped on the bale of hay as we were trying to move it.”
