Heavy Flooding and Downed Trees Force Road Closures in Birmingham, Alabama

A flash flood emergency was issued across northern Alabama counties on Tuesday, May 4, as roads were closed due to floodwaters and downed trees.

Footage shared by Davis Ebbert, who said it was filmed outside Samford University in Birmingham, shows heavy rainfall as police report to the scene of a fallen tree.
