Heavy Snow Wallops Calgary Amid Snowfall Warning in Southern Alberta

A resident in Calgary, Alberta, had trouble opening a door at his workplace on Wednesday, November 2, amid frigid temperatures and a snowfall warning in the area.

According to Environment Canada, up to 8 inches of snowfall was possible throughout Wednesday. The weather service cautioned that heavy snow would reduce visibility on the roads.

Footage captured by Tadhg O’Connor shows snow blowing outside a warehouse in the Balzac area of Calgary at around 7 am local time.

According to O’Connor, he regretted his decision to come into work. “I knew I should have stayed at home,” he said. “It’s a 45-minute drive away!” Credit: Tadhg O’Connor via Storyful
