Helen Skelton’s husband Richie Myler has broken his silence on social media four days after she announced they have separated.

The rugby star appears to be spending quality time with their three children in the wake of their split.

In a since-deleted post to Instagram Stories, he shared a brief video showing him inside a kid’s gym.

The 31-year-old gave no caption for the post and has yet to comment on the breakdown of his relationship with the Countryfile presenter.

Skelton, 38, announced the news just four months after she and the Leeds Rhinos rugby league player, 31, had their third child together.

She announced the heartbreaking news to fans on social media.

She wrote: “Very sad to say that Richie and I are no longer a couple. He has left the family home. We will be doing our best to co-parent our small children.”

Skelton married Myler in 2013 after meeting two years earlier.

They share children Ernie, six, Louis, five and four-month-old Elsie Kate.

It comes after Skelton announced the birth of her third child Elsie Kate on New Year’s Eve.

She later revealed the reason behind her child’s middle name in an interview with Hello! Magazine.

“We were always going to have Kate as a middle name after my cousin, who sadly passed away when we were in our 20s,” she explained.

“I was really close to her, she was a scientist and crazy cool.”
