Uber has revealed a list of guidelines on what can get you banned from its service – and one of the activities is flirting with other passengers in car-sharing service Uberpool.

Uber says that touching fellow passengers, flirting or asking if they are single is unacceptable.

The rules – which apply in the US, but a similar set is likely to be introduced in the UK soon – also ban vandalism, dropping rubbish and (unsurprisingly) throwing up in the back seat.

The regulations also say it is, ‘common courtesy not to shout, swear or slam the car door.’

When it comes to Uberpool – a shared-car service which is cheaper than an ordinary Uber, it said, ‘You shouldn’t touch or flirt with other people in the car.’

Drivers are also banned from flirting with passengers.

Uber says ‘As a reminder, Uber has a no sex rule. That’s no sexual conduct between drivers and riders, no matter what.’
