Hilarious Truth Behind The 'Ghost In The Hospital' Photo Is Revealed

A photo which was touted as 'proof' that there is life beyond the grave has turned out to be, in all probability, the product of a joke iPhone app.

The spooky image created headlines around the world after Snapchat user Andrew Milburn claimed that the picture of a floating girl had appeared in an image he sent to his girlfriend.

But keen-eyed observers have noted that it looks very like the ghost in the app ‘Ghost Capture’ - an app where users insert ghost images into their own photos.

Milburn claimed that he had not noticed the ghost image before he sent the snap to his girlfriend via messaging service Snapchat.

Milburn said: ‘I have put this picture on Facebook, it has received thousands of likes and comments and has been shared as far as America.

‘It has also been shared on to paranormal investigator groups, many of which believe the picture is real.
