Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager Reveal Mother's Day Plans as They Share Why They Love Being Moms (Exclusive)

Kotb is mom to daughters Hope and Haley while Bush Hager shares kids Mila, Poppy and Hal with husband Henry Hager

Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager are sharing how they celebrate Mother's Day, every day.

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE broadcasted from The Loren Hotel in Bermuda, the Today with Hoda & Jenna co-hosts opened up about their plans for the holiday. Kotb is mom to daughters Hope, 4, and Haley, 7, while Bush Hager shares daughters Mila, 11, and Poppy, 8, as well as son Hal, 4, with husband Henry Hager.

“Jenna’s going to be home. She’s going to spend her [wedding] anniversary here and then go home for Mother’s Day," Kotb shares. "And my kids are going to come here on Friday, we’re going to fly home and my mom is across the street from me so we’re going to spend the rest of it [with her]. So it’ll be fun.”

Asked if the two still love and appreciate Mother's Day, Kotb vehemently agrees.

“I love it. I love it. I mean, I’ve only got to have seven in my life, but I didn’t think I’d have one, so to have seven is like, you’ve got to be kidding me," she raves. "So it is the greatest unexpected joy that I get to have in my life."

“To hear even your kids say 'Mama.' And the thing is, yes we love the day but also I hear Hoda talking to her kids every single day," Bush Hager continues. "And it’s like, even the phone call at 7:30 a.m. and seeing their faces is something we do not take for granted."

In April, Kotb brought her daughter Haley along with her as Today with Hoda & Jenna celebrated Bring Your Kid to Work Day. When the episode began, Kotb and Bush Hager entered the set with a group of kids from the staff, including Haley.

After they got settled, all the kids went around and introduced themselves. "Hi, my name is Haley and my mom is Hoda Kotb," Haley said when her turn came around.

Asked what her favorite part of being at work with her mom was, Haley adorably responded, "That I get to see Mommy." Bush Hager, whose three kids did not come with her, then asked Haley, "Who's the boss: Me or mommy?"

"You," Haley quipped, much to the frustration of Kotb. "This has been happening all day," Kotb sighed.
