Holiday-Maker Returns Home to Find Lost Wallet Returned by Anonymous Good Samaritan

Not everyone is a thief (Picture: Facebook/Tom Watts)

Losing your wallet in the airport before flying abroad will not start your holiday in the best way.

Student Tom Watts had thought his wallet had been stolen in Luton Airport on his way to Serbia.

However, it had been accidentally picked up by another traveller who posted it back to his parent’s house - Where Mr Watt’s driving licence was registered to.

Enclosed with the wallet was the following message: I’m really really sorry Tom.

‘I picked this up thinking it was my mate’s and there was no number.

‘Hope you enjoyed Serbia, Good luck at uni.’

Mr Watts is hoping that with the help of social media - he can find this anonymous Good Samaritan.

The post has now been shared over 30,000 times, so fingers crossed.

He wrote on Facebook: ‘This is bloody awesome. Last weekend, I lost my wallet at Luton airport when I flew back from holiday…

‘This morning, I received this in the post at my parents’ house (the address on my driving license).

‘There’s not a single penny missing - all my cards and ID etc. are all still there! There are some incredible people out there.’

Guess you can call this a glass half full story.
