Hollyoaks spoilers follow.

Hollyoaks has confirmed actor Adam Woodward's dramatic exit from the soap after four years in the role of Brody Hudson.

After weeks of rumours, the Channel 4 soap has confirmed Brody's exit in its all-new autumn trailer, which sees his character Brody Hudson fatally injured in a hit-and-run after his and Sienna Blake's (Anna Passey) showdown with Summer (Rhiannon Clements).

This week's episodes see Summer make a dramatic return to the village with murder on her mind as she seeks her final revenge against Brody. But just when it looks like Sienna has managed to overpower Summer, paving the way for a happy ending for Sienna and Brody at last, tragedy strikes.

The trailer shows Brody being hit by a car in a hit-and-run, and the end of the clip focuses in on a tearful Sienna as she talks to the police.

"I saw exactly who was behind the wheel of the car that hit Brody Hudson," she notes as the trailer ends – but whose name will she mention? And is she telling the truth?

Adam Woodward joined the cast of Hollyoaks in 2017, with his character first crossing paths with some of the characters in Ibiza before later moving to the village.
