Yahoo News Hollyoaks' Duncan James reveals Ryan's dark Amy secret
Hollyoaks star Duncan James revealed Ryan Knight's dark secret live on This Morning today (May 22).
Viewers know that Duncan's character Ryan has been keen to cover up his actions from the night Amy Barnes died, leading some fans to speculate that he might have been the person responsible.
However, it seems there is another explanation for Ryan's mysterious behaviour – he was actually cheating on his new wife when she was murdered.
Duncan dropped the big bombshell during a live interview earlier, revealing that Ryan was sleeping with Adam Rickitt's character Kyle on the night Amy was killed.
"Adam's character Kyle has made quite a big impact coming into the show and obviously he has a big secret," Duncan said on This Morning.
"And his secret is that he was with Ryan on the night of the wedding when Amy was being murdered."
Bet you didn't see that one coming!
Upcoming scenes will see Harry Thompson uncover evidence that links Ryan to the crime amid his desperate bid to clear his boyfriend Ste's name.
Ste is currently behind bars awaiting trial after confessing to killing Amy, although he's since realised that his memories from that night were false and has pleaded not guilty in court.
Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
