Hollyoaks' Fergus discovers Warren's killer secret

Hollyoaks spoilers follow.

Fergus Collins has discovered Warren Fox killed Brody Hudson in Hollyoaks.

Earlier this week, Warren left his son Joel an incriminating voicemail message where he tearfully begged for forgiveness for killing Brody.

In Friday's (September 17) E4 episode, Warren tried to break things off with Fergus when he refused to take part in his boss's drugs job.

"I'm the only friend you have left. Even your own son hates your guts," Fergus countered.

The insult triggered Warren to remember he'd left the confessional message for Joel. As Warren openly panicked, Fergus saw an opportunity to regain his hold over his rebellious business partner.

Fergus sunk to a new low by involving Trish in one of his plots by asking her to get hold of Joel's phone so he could listen to the voicemail in question.

Warren was off for an emotional heart-to-heart with his son, where Joel interrupted him to rant and rave about his toxic business relationship with Fergus.

When Warren demanded Joel just hand over his phone, both realised the device had been stolen! Later, Trish turned up at her flat with the phone to hand it over to Fergus.

"Just remember, I'm a dance teacher, not a thief," she insisted.

Flashback footage then showed Trish sneaking up behind Joel and Warren during their row and pocketing the vicar's phone without either seeing her.

"Whatever Joel's got on this phone, it better be worth it," Trish warned Fergus.
