Yahoo News Hollyoaks heartbreak as Maggie is rushed to hospital
Hollyoaks' Maggie Kinsella is rushed to hospital in an ambulance next week as her health takes another sad turn for the worse.
Maggie (Michelle Holmes) has been told that she only has weeks left to live after being diagnosed with terminal cancer.
With all of Maggie's family now aware of the tragic news, upcoming episodes see them band together to help her complete her bucket list in touching scenes.
Maggie, Damon, Scott and Holly even go on a fun night out together, which sees Damon (Jacob Roberts) dress up in drag to entertain his mum.
Spirits are high when the group return to The Dog later on, but the jovial atmosphere quickly disappears when Maggie can't catch her breath.
As Maggie continues to struggle, Damon asks Holly to call an ambulance to get her to the hospital, where her devastated loved ones anxiously wait for news.
Maggie recently asked Scott to help her die when the time comes, causing an argument as he questioned his mum's motives.
However, when Maggie revealed the real reasons why she gave Scott up when he was a baby, he finally agreed to respect her wishes.
With Maggie's condition now clearly starting to deteriorate, will the reality of her request start to hit home for Scott?
Hollyoaks airs on weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first-look screenings at 7pm on E4.
