Hollyoaks is hinting that Warren Fox will actually team up with Brody Hudson next week.

Warren (Jamie Lomas) was horrified in Thursday's first-look episode when Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) fled the village with their twins, after having help from his own son Joel Dexter (Rory Douglas-Speed).

He also lost his bargaining chip when Liberty and Damon were able to free Brody (Adam Woodward) from the shipping container where Warren had been holding him captive from Sienna.

Yet, in a strange turn of events, Joel will try to convince Warren and Brody to work together in bringing Sienna back in scenes airing on Channel 4 next week.

After Warren berates Joel for letting Sienna take Sebastian while he is still in dire need of cancer treatment, the priest suggests the best way to get the twins back is for his father to trust Sienna's current boyfriend.

Looking ahead to next week, Jamie Lomas surprisingly revealed that Warren will actually have some trust in Brody after their ordeal in the shipping container.

"They've had a moment in the container, when Brody kind of tells all to Warren about his abuse with Buster, and Warren feels for him, and thinks that he's very brave for what he went through," the actor explained.

"He's got a newfound respect for him, and yeah I think he does trust him. I think it's Sienna that he doesn't trust and that's what he's got to be wary of, but I think they bond and they could become mates so I think moving forward yeah he does trust Brody."

Warren isn't feeling quite as hopeful about his bond with son Joel, after originally making strides to repair their relationship when he first returned.

"Warren definitely does feel betrayed by Joel, but he can kind of see why Joel's done it," he admitted. "I think Warren knows deep down that what he done, taking those kids away from their mum for two years, was wrong.

"Deep down he knows that this is a little bit of karma for him, and Joel was just trying to do the right thing. Warren is a bad man, and although he doesn't see it in his own eyes, he knows what he did was wrong. But he felt that taking those kids was his only choice, otherwise he was going to jail, or having to go away and never going to see his kids again. He just couldn't deal with that."

Lomas also had an ominous warning for whether Sienna will be in danger if Warren catches up with her.

"I think it depends on the situation; you're always in danger where Warren Fox is concerned, I think, if you betray him," he said.

"He knows what he did was wrong taking those kids and Sienna's been without those kids for the last two years so he just wants the kids back safe and sound and he wants to form a relationship with Sienna."

Hollyoaks airs Mondays through Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first-look episodes airing on E4 at 7pm.
