Hollyoaks fans will see Nancy Osborne face further opposition tonight (May 27) over her apparent friendship with Laurie Shelby.

Nancy is staying close to the villain in the hope that she can trick him into incriminating himself.

Last week, Nancy angered Jack by having an after-work drink with Laurie (Kyle Pryor) at The Dog. However, viewers later saw her true intentions when she reported back to Sienna Blake about her secret efforts to bring Laurie to justice.

Monday's E4 first look episode sees Jack tip off Kyle Kelly about Nancy's worrying connection to Laurie.

Kyle is equally appalled and warns Nancy to stay away from Laurie, but she won't be deterred and still plans to have lunch with him that afternoon.

Later, after an exasperated Kyle spots Nancy out with Laurie again, she realises that she'll have to put him in the picture to stop him from ruining everything.

Nancy tells Kyle that she knows Sienna and Sinead are both telling the truth about Laurie, so she wants to find a way to record a confession from him. Will Kyle back down?

Jessica Fox, who plays Nancy, recently told Digital Spy: "Jack is flabbergasted by Nancy's behaviour. He's really very cross and angry with her.

"Kyle is completely confused by the situation as well. She does tell Kyle what she's up to, but he asks her why she'd want to put herself in a situation where something bad could happen."

Hollyoaks airs these scenes tonight (May 27) at 7pm on E4 and tomorrow (May 28) at 6.30pm on Channel 4.
