Yahoo News Hollyoaks newcomer Callum Kerr teases romance story for PC Kiss
Hollyoaks newcomer Callum Kerr has brushed off those pesky death rumours, promising fans that there's something a lot brighter in PC George Kiss' future. Yes, we're talking about romance – and a lot of it, apparently.
Following the news of PC Kiss' arrival, Callum spoke to Inside Soap about what's in store for the village's handsome new recruit, teasing "romance on the cards – a lot of it!"
"I don't know if my character will be straight, gay, or a bit of both, but I've heard there could be a nice relationship," he added, suggesting that at least some element of *that* flash-forward theory could be correct.

As for who PC Kiss will be, well, kissing, we'll have to wait and see. There's no rush, though, because Callum has admitted he's happy to stick around for as long as he can. "The more trouble there is in Hollyoaks, the more I'll be involved in the storylines!" he said.
"I'm looking forward to George having as much drama as possible!"
Speaking to Digital Spy about a flash-forward for the County Lines drug dealing storyline that featured a body bag, Callum confessed he was worried about it being a (very) bad omen. "I'd love to have a long, healthy stint on the show," he told us.
"But George is in a very dangerous line of work during a very dangerous time. I'll have to keep my fingers crossed – I pray that it's not me in the bag, but I don't know that myself yet. I've not read the stories that far in advance!"
Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
