Hollyoaks’ Oscar uncovers major JJ clue in Frankie story

The following article references sibling sexual abuse.

Hollyoaks spoilers follow from Wednesday's (June 26) episode on Channel 4 streaming, which doesn't air on E4 until Thursday.

Oscar Osborne has made a shocking discovery over half-brother JJ's abuse of Frankie in Hollyoaks.

Frankie has been recovering in hospital after being attacked by JJ, though the abuser has successfully framed stepmother Nancy Osborne for the incident.

Oscar recently discovered video footage of JJ hurting his sister, and while Frankie convinced Oscar to keep quiet, it looked like she would take action against JJ.

Frankie was shown in a cliffhanger earlier this week calling DS Peel to change her police statement over her fall, hinting at JJ's downfall.

In the latest first-look episode on streaming service Channel 4+, Oscar watched suspiciously as JJ tossed a pair of golden football boots into a rubbish bag.

Over at the hospital, Suzanne revealed that the police had rung at home to speak with Frankie and asked if there was anything she needed to know.

"Not right now, no," Frankie deferred.

JJ turned up asking to speak to Frankie, leaving her scared when Suzanne agreed to let the siblings be alone together.

He demanded Frankie explain why she'd offered to change her statement to the police, though he quickly turned desperate by promising he'd never abuse her again if she kept quiet.

A tearful Frankie ordered her brother to say "out loud" what he was offering before her brother reluctantly complied.

"I won't touch you again," JJ vowed. "It's not a deal anymore, it's a promise between me and you. I swear I will never go near you again. Just don't ruin my life."

Frankie ultimately decided to back down from changing her police statement, though JJ could still be found out.

A cliffhanger scene revealed Oscar looking through the rubbish bag that JJ threw out, only to find the golden football boots covered in blood.
