Hollyoaks has confirmed a new enemy for Laurie Shelby as upcoming episodes will see Nancy Osborne plotting against him.

Up until now, viewers have seen Nancy (Jessica Fox) show her support for Laurie (Kyle Pryor) as he was investigated by Hollyoaks High over Sienna Blake's sexual harassment allegations, which she made after Laurie developed an inappropriate interest in her when she started working with him.

But although she initially didn't believe Sienna's claims, in the wake of Laurie's wife Sinead (Stephanie Davis) reporting him for rape in tonight's (May 21) E4 episode, Nancy will come to realise that Laurie is a predator and decide to expose him.

In upcoming scenes, viewers will see that Laurie doesn't have many people to turn to in the wake of Sinead's report – until Nancy comes calling and asks him out for a drink, that is.

Upon seeing the two of them out together, Jack is left furious at Nancy and confronts her about it, but later on Nancy meets Sienna at The Dog, and it soon becomes clear that Nancy is only being nice to Laurie in a bid to plot against him.

Although Jack later tells Kyle that he saw Laurie and Nancy together and Kyle warns Nancy to stay away from the teacher, Nancy proves she's a woman on a mission as she still goes out to meet Laurie for lunch.

And, after Kyle sees them together again, Nancy finally reveals her plan and tells Kyle what she's up to – she's determined to record Laurie making a full confession.

Will Nancy's plan prove successful?

Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
