Yahoo News Hollyoaks revenge twist as Darren and Joel team up
This is the moment that Hollyoaks' Darren Osborne and Joel Dexter make a secret alliance against local criminal Shane Sweeney in tonight's E4 episode.
Darren (Ashley Taylor Dawson) found himself embroiled in another drugs drama in last night's first look scenes when he discovered that Cleo McQueen had taken heroine again.
But despite Darren's natural concern for the troubled teen, he finds himself being forced to keep quiet over Cleo's sad relapse when she threatens to expose his own drugs secret if he tells anyone.
Fans know that Darren has found himself doing illegal jobs for bad boy Shane which is what brought him to the drugs den in the first place, but he will team up with Joel in order to take back some control.
Viewers will have to tune in to see how Joel comes to be involved in the latest scandal, but given that the priest has unresolved feelings for Cleo, it will come as no surprise that he'll want to do all he can to protect her when he hears about what happened.
These pictures show Joel and Darren plotting against Shane as they vow to get rid of him for good, but sadly it looks like their plan could have terrible consequences.
When Shane realises that he has been set up, he gets revenge by kidnapping Cleo – before luring Joel into his trap. Will Joel manage to save Cleo before it's too late?
Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
